Alibaba Unveils Qwen-Robot Embodied AI Model Suite with Manipulation, Navigation and World Models

On June 16, Alibaba launched the Qwen-Robot series, its first complete lineup of embodied intelligence models designed for the physical world. The suite comprises three core models: Qwen-RobotManip (the "dexterous hand"), which supports 80-dimensional unified action representation and tops the RoboChallenge real-robot benchmark, capable of fine manipulation like twisting bottle caps and folding clothes; Qwen-RobotNav (the "navigating foot"), which enables autonomous navigation and object search in unknown environments without pre-built maps; and Qwen-RobotWorld (the "thinking brain"), which understands physical laws and predicts motion trajectories. All three can be deployed independently or work in concert, providing a universal intelligence foundation for various robot form factors. Industry observers see the release as a key step for Chinese large models moving from the digital world into the physical world, accelerating the commercialization of embodied AI.
