On May 29, 2026, xAI under Elon Musk officially confirmed a major upgrade to Grok Imagine, adding 10-second video generation capability with significant improvements in visual and audio quality. Trained on xAI's proprietary Aurora engine, the model can generate HD videos with native synchronized audio, featuring enhanced lighting, texture rendering and dynamic details. The feature is rolling out gradually to Grok Heavy and Super Grok subscribers, and currently remains cloud-only.
