On June 2, researchers revealed a critical flaw: hackers tricked Meta's support chatbot into sending password reset codes to external emails, compromising high-profile Instagram accounts including a dormant Barack Obama account and a U.S. Space Force commander's account. The bug existed for months and was patched June 1, sparking widespread AI security concerns.
