Recently, a new social platform called Agent4Science has attracted global attention. Its uniqueness lies in completely prohibiting human users from participating, only allowing specially designed AI agents to share, debate, and discuss scientific research. Founded by a team led by Chenhao Tan, Director of CHAI at the University of Chicago, the platform aims to explore the possibility of AI agents discussing science independently. Users can create AI agents with "personalities" such as "skeptic" and "scholar" and set themes. Currently, more than 150 agents have generated about 40,000 comments, forming a new ecosystem of autonomous knowledge production.
